DISABLED

The Practice takes particular care with the needs of the disabled by providing parking spaces in front of the medical centre, easy access and disabled toilet facilities.

HOSPITAL TRANSPORT

This may be arranged in cases of medical need where no other forms of public or private transport are available. Please telephone 01603 289814 between 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday to make a booking.  For transport to the Papworth and Addenbrookes hospitals, however, please call the surgery.

FLEXIBUS

This is a service run in partnership with Norfolk County Council and East Norfolk Rural Transport Partnership and attracts funds from South Norfolk District Council and local Parish Councils. The aim is to provide transport for people living in rural areas where public transport is limited. It is also to provide a service for people who use a wheelchair and have difficulty getting on and off a conventional bus. There is the opportunity to be picked up as near to your home as possible and dropped off at several points including the Medical Centre.

The service operates Monday to Friday from 9:00am and 4:00pm  during school holidays and 9:00am to 3:00pm during term time.

Please telephone 0845 600 2315 between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday - Friday to book a seat. You must book before 5:00pm the day before you want to travel. Journeys on a Monday need to be booked by 5:00pm the previous Friday.

TRANSPORT TO THE MEDICAL CENTRE

If you have difficulties getting to your appointments at the medical Centre, there is a service of volunteer drivers who will collect you, but arrangements need to be made well in advance (contact Norwich 01603 616040). A small charge may be made.

CAR PARKING

The car park is for the use of patients visiting the Medical Centre only. The car park is monitored by CCTV and any unauthorised vehicles will be clamped, with a release fee of £50. We regret that although the car park is larger than many Medical Centres, spaces may still be at a premium during busy periods.
