Urgent / same day appointments
To request an urgent / same day appointment:
- phone us on 01953 602220, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:30
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:30
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
When we reach pre-bookable clinical capacity for the day / week we may need to direct you to another suitable service.
For safety reasons, urgent / same day medical requests cannot be accepted via our online system. For something urgent, please contact us via phone or walk in to our reception.
Non-urgent appointments
To request a non-urgent appointment, for a new or ongoing issue
- phone us on 01953 602220 Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:30
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:30
For non-urgent issues you can also seek help using our online forms. Please note this is for non-urgent requests only and our turnaround time is 2 working days.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- by text or email
- We aim to respond to all appointment and advice requests promptly, prioritising those most in need. When we reach pre-bookable clinical capacity for the day / week we may need to direct you to another suitable service.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- complete our online appointment cancellation form
- phone us on 01953 602220 Monday to Friday between 08:00 to 18:30 and press option 2
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific clinician you would prefer to see / speak with.
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
We offer home visits to our housebound patient when necessary. If a home visit is needed, please call before 11am to request this, with some information about the nature of the problem.
Our visiting team consists of GPs available on the day and our Outreach nursing team. You may also be visited at home by a community nurse if you have been referred by your GP.
